Our training is focused on practice teaching as much as possible. The more you can get the words out the faster we work through initial awkwardness or nervous feelings about teaching.

We learn how to teach by expressing the feelings and sensations of our own yoga practice. In order to do that, we have to actually do some yoga. We dive deeper into your own practice through workshopping poses, breaking down flows and understanding what is happening to ourselves. Then we explain that feeling through discussion and practice teaching our fellow trainees.

Curriculum around anatomy and physiology assists in gaining confidence when expressing that shared experience with others. Best practices in cuing and class pacing are shared by the trainers to give you a leg up in what has worked for years already.

Drawing inspiration from your own journey, we map out how you got to the mat, and what about that story can relate to others on a similar path. Everyone can motivate someone out there through a shared experience. We take time to find your personal teaching message.
