My mission as a teacher is to bring healing and wholeness through connecting body, mind, and spirit in your yoga practice. I am a practitioner of zen meditation and incorporate mindfulness of the body and mind into my teaching across class types.
Focusing on your breath will allow you to do things you once thought were unimaginable, both on and off your mat.
I focus on self-acceptance in class, giving modifications and encouragement to help you feel good in your yoga practice and engage the muscles needed for correct alignment.
With a background in psychology research and social work, I bring this knowledge and skill into my yoga teaching and into my work as a life coach.
In my free time, I enjoy going to concerts, spending time in nature, meditating, reading, singing and playing piano, and building community.
